| Book Shop / Uniform Shop |

All school books and stationery are to be purchased from the school bookshop. For the sake of uniformity students have to buy exercise books of standard design bearing the name of the school from the school bookshop only. The school uniform is also available at the uniform shop. The students can go to the uniform shop only after getting the gate pass issued
from the reception. |

| DISCIPLINE |

| General Discipline |

The School expects strict discipline and good behaviour to be maintained by the ward and their parents/guardians.

Any breach of the same in any manner of which the sole judge shall be the principle of the school and Management.

Students should report five minutes before the school time.
-
No Student is permitted to leave the school premises during school hours without permission of the Principle.

Damage to the School Property of whatever nature, will have to be paid for by the individual responsible. Any damage must be reported to the Class Teacher.

The Children should bring their lunch boxes themselves, according to the menu prescribed by the School.

Children should not take home anything from the school which does not belong to them. In case they find anything, they should deposit to their class teacher or at the reception.

The Students should abstain from coming to the school on their self driven cars.

Leave application should be sent on the leave from provided in the diary duly signed by the parents/guardians. In case of illness, the parent must submit the leave application and a medical certificate to the Principal.

Use of vulgar and objectionable language, display of violent behaviour etc. will not be allowed.

The Students should not bring mobile phones to the school. Strict action would be taken against the defaulters.

By enrolling in the school, it is understood that parents and pupils have read, understood and agree to comply with these rules.

| LIBRARY RULES |
- Books will be issued only in the Library period.
- Books will be issued to the students only for one week.
- Students will be fined if they delay in returning library books.
- In case of loss of books, replacement or double amount will be charged.
- Books are to be placed at the same place where they are taken from.
- Personal Books are not allowed in the library.

| GUIDELINES TO PARENTS |
|
Please ensure that :

You check your child's school diary everyday.

Always pay the fees and other dues in time to avoid embarrassment to the child.

Attend the parents/teacher meetings to ensure child's progress in School. Your absence could be interpreted as indifference.

Parents, Guardians and Visitors are not allowed to walk into the class rooms to meet their children. If, for any reason the child has not been able to bring lunch, the same can be deposited with the gate peon mentioning the name, class and section of the child.

Be available if it is necessary, to discuss aspects of your child's behaviour at School.

Sign messages, progress reports or other similar documents when requested to do so, so as not to put your child to an inconvenience.

Inculcate respect for person, property and the environment in your children.

Do not visit any teacher in the classroom as this may disturb the class.
-
Be open to listening and considering the teacher's opinions regarding your child, even when the comments may be less than complimentary.

Encourage your child to be simple in appearance. Discourage nails, nail paint, jewellery, fancy clips, especially during the school. The School is not responsible for the loss of jewellery or costly items.

| The Counsellor |
| The school has a counsellor who looks not only into the emotional problems of the students but also helps them in overcoming their learning difficulties. She also provides career guidance to students of X & XII. A resource room has been set up in the school for this purpose. |

| Health |
| The PAP hospital adjoining the school looks after the urgent medical requirement of the students. The school has its own doctor and paramedical staff along with a well equipped get well room. A medical and dental check up of all the pupils is conducted by a team of doctors regularly. |

| NCC |
| The school offers NCC with an aim to develop character,discipline,leadership,secular outlook,spirit of adventure and ideals of selfless service among the students.It also provides a suitable environment to motivate the students to take up a career in armed forces. It is affiliated to 2nd punjab NCC battalion. |

| TRANSFER CERTIFICATE |
Request for withdrawal of the ward(s) from the school and issue of transfer certificate should be made atleast one month in advance.
In case of withdrawal of the student, the fee already paid will not be refunded.
The security however shall be refunded |

| PARENTS TEACHERS MEET |
In order to assess the performance of the students the Principal in her absolute discretion shall call a meeting of the parents and teachers.

The Class work, test papers, leave record may be seen on that day.
- The Behaviour of the student at home and school can also be discussed.
- Any suggestions for the improvement of the student and the school in general are welcome.
- All the parents called for by the teachers should meet them at the time mentioned by them.
- Except in an emergency the Principal and teachers do not entertain visitors or parents during the school hours.
