In the field of Co-Curricular
Activities where the school has always
been in the limelight, we emerged as the
Overall winners in Inter Police Public
Schools Co-Curricular Meet at Bhatinda.
The school has been the proud recipient
of the Overall Trophy of Inter Police
Public Schools Co-Curricular Meet for
the last four consecutive years.
Moving forward to the Inter DAV Schools
Youth Festival at Mohali, we bagged the
1st position in English Declamation and
2nd in Hindi Debate and Ved Mantra
soaring to greater heights of eloquence
and finesse in the State Level DAV
Schools Youth Festival at BBK DAV
College for Women, Amritsar and bagging
the 1st positions in English Declamation
and Rangoli.
A stamp version of these achievements
was the display of melody of our
evergreen Group Song team in Sahodya
CBSE and Bharat Vikas Parishad. |

The nimble footed dancers who seem to float in
the air on the Bhangra beats and have brought
the coveted 1st position at the State Level
Competition organised at Governor House,
Chandigarh and Red Cross Society.
Besides Inter School Activities several
Co-Curricular activities are held in the school
itself that give the students an opportunity to
showcase their latent talent. Every Saturday the
school vibrates with the color of the four
houses Ojasvi, Manasvi , Tejasvi and Yashasvi
that are piloted by House Captains and Prefects.
A number of Co-Curricular activities like
Debates, Declamations, Dance, Drama,
Mono-acting, Laugh A Minute, Quiz, Poem
Recitation, Dumb Charades and Poster Making are
organized.
The celebrative mood pervades on all the
important festivals like Lohri, Baisakhi, Holi,
Raksha Bandhan, Dussehra and Diwali. |

On 26th November 2005 the school exhibited the
various vistas of progress ushered in by change.
The exhibition inaugurated by Mrs. Neelam Gupta
w/o Sh. Rajan Gupta, IPS, ADGP/PAP and Sh.
M.S.Bhullar, IPS, DGP Punjab (Retd.), signified
that change and progress meant weeding out the
useless and promising a rich harvest ahead. It
was based on a thought provoking idea - each
evolving day leads to budding season which
sprouts from the remnants of the previous one.
This moves on to the cycle of life which is so
rooted in the river that it traces the path of
perennial progress and prosperity. |

games like Kho-Kho, Handball, Volleyball
Hockey, Football, Gymnastics, Horse
Riding, Swimming, Roller Skating and the

The Flight towards excellence.
The sports achievements are a proof of
the glory we have garnered in galore
while flying and pushing back the azure
sky.
In the All India Mahatma Hans Raj Aryan
Tournament (National) held at Meerut, we
won the Overall Championship. Continuing
our flight in the All India Mahatma
Hansraj Aryan Tournament (National) held
at Gurgaon our school bagged the Overall
Championship in Games.
We have been the proud recipients of the
Overall Champions Trophy in both Games
and Athletics for 5 consecutive years.

In the
CBSE Cluster level, the evergreen
Kho-Kho teams (both Girls and Boys) have
been winning the Champions Trophy for 5
consecutive years. It once again came
out as the champion in CBSE National
held at Lucknow.
Besides, the school hand ball, swimming,
roller skating, judo and yogasana teams
have been bringing accolades for the
school at national and state level. |
